SARASOTA, Fla. (SNN TV) – Students are fighting mental health stigmas with paint brushes.
A student art exhibit inspired by mental health took place at Art Avenue this past weekend .
The exhibit features art pieces from students all across Sarasota County high schools.
“The Suncoast Science Center presented us with this opportunity to have us enroll in the competition,” said Luca Tero, one of the artists. “They then gave us time to create art pieces and submit them.”
The exhibit also had lunch, music, guest speakers, and money prizes.
Each winner brought home $2,000.00.
