PALMETTO, Fla. (SNN) – Manatee Sheriffs office brings the north pole to Palmetto for their annual ‘Flight to the North Pole’ Christmas celebration. The celebration gives children who are terminally ill and children with disabilities a magical Christmas.
“Today is about them and their families to give them just a few hours not to worry about anything,” Sheriff Rick Wells said.
Around 300 children were there to celebrate with food, gifts, and an appearance from Santa Claus.
