SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – Many of our service veterans are too busy safeguarding our country to get home to their own families, so Budweiser is coming through for them.

Budweiser has launched a program called a “Taste of Home,” according to Andrea Saputo-Cox, President of Gold Coast Eagle Distributing in Sarasota County.

Consumers can nominate a service member of their choice to receive a rebated six-pack of Budweiser and a personal note this holiday season.

For every nomination received through December 31, Budweiser will donate $1 per nomination and up to $5,000 total to “Folds of Honor,” an organization that provides educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders who served our country.

Anheuser-Busch has been working with Folds of Honor for over 13 years, donating nearly $22 million, which has contributed to 51,000 Folds of Honor scholarships.
